Ha! I knew it wasn't true
Monday we took Matty to the pediatrician for a check up and when they measured him, he was 21.5". The hospital only measured him at 20". I KNEW there was no way he was shorter than Catie was. I also knew he did not grow an inch and a half in 6 days. Catie was mismeasured in the hospital too, she ended up being about an inch longer than the hospital said. So, even though the hospitals measurements are "official", he was actually 8lb 12oz and 21.5" at birth.

He's adorable. So, what was his official weight? Glad his appt went well and that you got the official length. Love all that hair.
He looks so much like Catie in the picture, it's amazing!
What is it with hospital measurements? We came home with different measurements written on different paperwork. In some places it said 20" and in others it said 20.5". Not a huge difference, but annoying!
oh my word... he's CUTE!
When David was born, they measured him at 7 lbs 3 oz and then an hour and a half later, they came in and weighed him again and he was 7 lbs 12 oz. hmmm... guess we'll never really know!
